LEUKEMIA
The organs and tissues of the body are made up of paramanus (cells). The growth of cells are in order and controlled but if this process gets out of control for the reasons of week and sick pattern of a person’s energy field, the cells will continue to divide and develop abnormal and could be malignant or cancerous.
Leukemia is a cancer of the white blood cells and bone-marrow (majjadhatu). The bone marrow is the inner part of bones where blood cells are made. Blood cells arise from the marrow and circulate in the blood. Leukemia is characterized by uncontrolled growth of white blood cells. In acute leukemia, immature, functionless cells accumulate in the marrow; some of them spill over in to the blood and circulate in the blood stream.
The four main types of leukemia are acute myeloblastic (AML), acute lymphoblastic (ALL), chronic lymphocyte (CLL), and chronic myeloid (CML). In the view of modern science, each type of leukemia has its own characteristics and treatment. However, in vedic healing you observe entirely another version of understanding as the cause of disease and remedial methodology.
Bone narrow produces stem cells, which develop in to the three different types of cells:
Red blood cells, which carry oxygen to all cells in the blood,
White blood cells, which are essentials for fighting infection,
Platelets, which help the blood to clot and control bleeding.
All these cells normally stay inside the bone marrow until they are mature enough to perform their function properly. They are then released in to the blood stream so that they can circulate around the body.
The bone marrow produces two main types of white blood cells: myeloid white blood cells and lymphocytes. These cells work together to fight infection. Some of white blood cells only live for a few hours or a few days. So the bone marrow is constantly making new cells to replace the old ones in the blood. The bone narrow normally makes millions of blood cells every day.
Leukemia is characterized by an over production of immature white blood cells. These immature cells are sometimes referred to as blast cells. Normally, white blood cells repair and reproduce themselves in an orderly and controlled way. In leukemia the process gets out of control and the cells continue to divide, but do not mature.
These immature, dividing white cells fill up the bone narrow and prevent it from making any healthy blood cells. As the bone narrow becomes full of immature leukemia white blood cells, some of them spillover in to the blood and circulate. The born narrow is also unable to make enough healthy red blood cells and platelets and symptoms such as anaemia and bruising also occur.
Symptoms of leukemia
Increased number of immature white cells (blast cells) in the bone marrow is the main symptom of leukemia. These blast cells reduce the production of normal blood cells. Owing to lack of red blood cells, patient may feel very tired and look pale and become breathless at the slightest effort. Repeated infection could occur because of a lack of healthy white cells. Caused by reduction in the number of platelets there could be unusual bleeding. Bruises may appear without any apparent injury. Bleeding gums, frequent nose bleeds and heavy periods in women also may happen. Areas of skin or gums, affected by leukemia cells, can look sore and take a long time to heal.
Rarely, a person will have none of these symptoms and the leukemia is discovered during a routine blood test.
Though these symptoms necessitate one to get checked by his doctor, they are common to much illness other than leukemia.
Diagnosis and treatment
The doctor at the hospital will do physical examination of patient. Specific blood test will check the numbers of all the different types of blood cells. If the blood test shows that leukemia cells are present, doctor will want to take a sample of bone narrow. This is the most authentic test for finding out the person having leukemia.
A sample of born narrow is usually taken from the back of patient hipbone (pelvis). A pathologist, to see if it contains any abnormal white blood cells, examines it under a microscope. By identifying the type of abnormal white cell, he will be able to tell which type of leukemia it is. There may be a number of other tests to be carried out on the bone narrow sample to help confirm the diagnosis. Knowing the exact type of leukemia helps the doctors to decide which treatment is likely to be most effective in treating the leukemia.
There are patients who choose not to have any treatment on the ground that even by an expensive treatment, with as much side effect as doctors may not reveal earlier, they cannot much prolong the life. If blood cancers like AML are not treated, people usually live only for a few weeks.
At this healing center, Golden Hut of Pure Healing, your chance to recover from leukemia, and live longer is much more than what is available with most advanced and modern scientific approaches and that too with the least of adverse side effects, but lot of potential benefits.
